WaveSurgeon is a breakbeat editing application for Windows. Amongst it's many features, it can: Save a midi timing template of the sample to a standard midi file; Save segments into a SoundFont, DLS or Pinnacle bank file, and also transmit via SDS and SMIDI (with full support for the Yamaha A3000 and E-mu ESI 32/4000 samplers); Slow down and speed up a loop without changing its pitch,and transpose / pitch bend a loop without changing its speed in real time (with sequencer); Save samples as WAV, AIFF or send as SDS/MIDI or SMIDI/SCSI (Advanced registration only)
